Bubble Gum on the Sofa

To remove bubble gum from upholstery, make a loop of duct tape around your fingers with the sticky side out. Press on the gum and jerk your finger up quickly. Repeat until all the gum is pulled away. – Debbie

Ballpoint Ink

Really cheap hairspray removes ballpoint ink from plastic because it has a high amount of acetone. – Pam

Condensation on Car Windows

To take care of the condensation that builds up on the inside of car windows during the cold winter months, leave the air-conditioning on with the temperature in the heat position, and windows will clear like magic. Or carry an ordinary chalkboard eraser in the car. Simply erase the condensation away. – Marty

Renew Rusty Chrome

Briskly scrub rust spots on car bumpers with a piece of crumpled aluminum foil, shiny side out. Also works well on the chrome shafts of golf clubs. – Patricia

Backseat Cover

A bed sheet (flat or fitted) makes a great cover for the backseat. Tuck it in well and the upholstery will be protected from pets and kids. When it gets dirty just throw it in the laundry. -Sam
